1. Define the exact frame
We identify the model, colour, size and fit version before comparing it. A low-bridge edition and a standard edition are separate candidates. Lens width is never substituted for total frame width. Unknown information remains unknown.
2. Start with support
Documented low-bridge construction and separate adjustable nosepads offer different routes to nose support. Neither guarantees cheek clearance. We consider the whole frame and explain what still requires a personal fitting check.
3. Read both sides of buyer feedback
We seek recent and lower-rated accounts as well as positive ones, remove duplicates and identify the sampled version. We show the collection date, sample size and limitations. A handful of favourable comments does not prove durability or a universal fit.
4. Explain why a candidate belongs
Selection considers documented construction, material information, relevant counterexamples and a usable purchase route. Budget comparisons use the same currency and price basis. A higher price, a familiar brand or a higher commission is not evidence of better fit.
5. Keep AI in its place
AI services receive the same dated evidence packet and questions within a comparison round. We retain the authentic response, visible model label, acquisition record and review date. Different services may share a model developer; agreement is not independent testing or a fit probability.
6. Keep recommendations current
Published recommendations depend on current sources. Expired prices are removed from budget comparisons; unavailable retailer targets stop being purchase links. When core evidence changes, the recommendation is reviewed again. Withdrawn products retain a clear withdrawal notice instead of a buying button.
7. Make corrections visible
Our contact form accepts factual corrections and privacy requests. Provide a public source and the exact version where possible. We assess the evidence, update affected records and reconsider dependent conclusions.
